Howard’s Groove – Perth CBD
A joint venture between us and the crew behind Smooth Operator, Howard’s Groove is our flagship cafe and a true expression of what we care about most: community, consistency, and great coffee. We’ve been part of it from the ground up—literally— painting the walls, setting the tone, and pouring the very first shots.
Tucked just below street level on Howard Street, Howards offers a moment of calm right in the heart of the city. Inside, you’ll find our Profiler Blend on espresso, alongside a rotating list of single origins served both as espresso and filter. The filter menu also features a curated selection of national and international guest roasters—a reflection of our love for variety, quality and sharing what others within our community have to offer.
Food-wise, Howard’s keeps things simple and satisfying: think crisp toasties, fresh pastries, and just the right amount of sweet. It’s the kind of offering that suits both a quick stop and a slower morning.
The team here is a tight-knit group of experienced, passionate baristas who bring care and precision to every cup. Their knowledge, consistency and friendly service have helped make Howard’s a trusted stop for regulars and newcomers alike.
Sunlit window seats, framed artwork, and shelves of indie magazines round out the space—making Howard’s Groove not just a cafe, but a place to pause, reset, and enjoy the ritual of great coffee.
